At Brew-Bev we have over one hundred years of combined experience in the brewing and beverage industry. The founder of the company, Neal H. Knapp, is an engineer by education and by trade. He has been working in the food and beverage business for 58 years and counting. The last portion of his corporate career, which spans over 30 years, was spent with Anheuser-Busch in various capacities. He was the Engineering/Maintenance Superintendent at the St. Louis Brewery (the largest in the world), Maintenance Manager at the Los Angeles Brewery during its expansion from a 3.5 million barrel brewery to 10 million barrels per year, Packaging and Shipping Manager in the St. Louis Brewery and Production design team manager to build a complete 7 million barrel brewery from the ground up in Cartersville Ga., before being promoted to corporate procurement back in St. Louis. There, he managed a department that handled accounts nationally and internationally from the UK to China. During this time he developed significant relationships with various manufacturers and suppliers of beverage equipment. E.G. brewing systems (tanks, pumps etc.), bottle and can lines, spare parts, and packaging supplies to breweries, distilleries and wineries. While at Anheuser-Busch, Neal instructed his clients on how to bring the quality of their products up to Anheuser-Busch (AB) standards. In other words, the manufacturers and suppliers were unable to sell to Anheuser-Busch unless approved by meeting these standards. Upon retiring from Anheuser-Busch, numerous manufacturers and suppliers gave Neal the exclusive right to sell their products to global markets. With that, he arranged a team of experienced professionals and started his own business.
