The 64 oz Ceramic Growler's large flip top lid provides a tight seal under carbonation.
To prevent unnecessary breaking I use a high fired porcelain slip that produces the strongest product available in the ceramics industry.
All glazes are applied by hand, high fired and lead free, I have tried and tested many colors to please clients with a variety of choices and designs. The chalk board design is useful for writing down which beer was filled in the growler and when it was filled, just in case you forget.
From start to finish, it takes about two weeks for a growler to be made. Each growler is individually slip-casted and hand-finished on a wheel. Growlers are fired and heated twice in a kiln that reaches a temperature of 2,600 degrees Fahrenheit.
