Are pie presses much different than other dough presses?

Pie presses are different than other dough presses -- a pie press is used to form the dough crust of a typical pie, and is designed specifically to press the dough into the dug-in shape of a pie pan/plate/foil.  General dough presses and pizza presses don't have that custom fit that allows for easy pie crust-making.  Pie presses make the process easier.
