Either will work just fine, but if cost is not much of an issue, then electric may a better, more efficient long-term choice. Electric heating systems are safer are more reliable than equivalent gas heating systems (no possibility of a gas leak, for example). Electric heating systems are also quieter. Usually it is the cost that leads brewers to select a gas heating system -- gas heating systems have a lower initial cost than electric heating systems (but higher long-term costs) -- but as cost is not an issue for you, you should seriously consider an electric heating system.
