How can I avoid overpouring with newer bartenders?

To reduce the possibility of overpouring, a lot of bars use jiggers, measured pourers, and other precise tools.  Though it may seem frustrating to invest in new equipment/tools, the cost savings will almost certainly add up significantly over time.  Once your bartenders get a little more experience, they may not have to use these tools, but plenty of bars do request that even their veteran bartenders continue to use such tools.
