To clean your filters, you should first remove them from the hood and soak them in hot water mixed with a chemical detergent for removing/loosening grease and debris (consult your manual or consult directly with your supplier or manufacturer to ensure that the chemical detergent is compatible with the equipment material). Generally this soaking process only takes a few minutes, but if there is a large buildup of grease residue, it may take several hours to properly loosen. After scrubbing away the residue, you can put the filters in the dishwasher. Remember, let the filters dry before setting them up in the hood again.
