I want to add a flat delivery charge, good idea?

Worried about customer satisfaction though.

Yes. To be competitive, keep it under 3 dollars, and within a 10 mile radius. There are also ways to make your mobile menu friendly and competitive with the main-stream apps that the larger chains are using. Ask me.

Flat delivery charges have become more and more common, so a small delivery charge is unlikely to cause too much of a stir among customers ($1-2). The more high-end your pizzeria, the less likely it is that your customers will find a flat delivery charge to be an issue. On the other hand, keep in mind that your delivery drivers may be tipped less due to customers thinking that the delivery charge is meant for the driver. You may want to consider increasing your delivery driver rate to correspond with these changes.
