No, there isn't a physical limit to the number of colors, though there are a number of practical concerns: labor, storage space, screens, and material. For a 7 or 8 color logo, using a slide decal would be by far the most practical approach. If the quantities are high enough (5,000) they could be ordered from an automated print shop, and applied at the glass decorator. The cost would be pretty manageable. For more normal growler quantities, the decals would have to be printed flat and semi-manually, with a very large labor commitment. We'd want a premium price for it. Over the years, our graphics department has gotten pretty good at altering big multicolor logos into something manageable that customers are happy to display and sell.Add comment
We have taken full color or super multi color images and transformed into practical and attractive finished art, no problem. Just need vector art and pms/color call outs.Add comment
