North American wine bottles are the industry standard. There are two factories in China that make comparable quality vs. North America. The other factories produce variable quality and create the reputation of poor quality glass from Asia. Either buy locally or from a trusted China source. Always perform bottling tests when considering a supplier change. Also reach out to your cork, label and capsule/screw cap manufacturer to make sure your packaging is compatible with a new bottle mould.

Yeah, we got bellisima bottles from china once. They looked okay but when you looked inside the top where the cork goes in, they were all de formed and we cracked about 1 out of every case when we corked them. I ended up finding a short cork to put in them.
