That shouldn't be a problem. There are beverage carriers for caterers that can be setup as self-serve beverage stations. They may have a spout or spigot for serving. The benefit of these -- assuming you're okay with the bland presentation aspect -- is that insulated beverage carriers tend to be thick and solid, able to deal with bumps, scratches, etc. more effectively. In other words, the equipment is not fragile, which is a big benefit when running a catering company.
