There are crystalline sediment deposits on the line to the bright tank. Where do they come from and how do stop the deposits from forming?

This sediment is known as "beer stone", and occurs naturally over time. The issue with "beer stone" is that it often builds-up so much that it actually sours the beer. In order to prevent this from occurring, simply change the line whenever you notice this type of residue beginning to form. You can wash the old line by submerging it in a solution of line cleaner and using a line brush (typically around 4 feet long) to scrub through the inside. Rinse the line thoroughly with warm water and hang it up to dry. Before long, it'll be ready to use once again.
