What are some cool out of the box promotional product ideas?

I don't want to do baseball hats or pens or bottle openers since it seems like a lot of businesses do those. What are some more unique options?

Everyone else is correct in saying that we need more information about you and your company in order for anyone to give any suggestions. The world of promo products goes from A - Z, then across another universe we have yet to discover.

However, let me attempt to actually answer your question with ideas of out of the box things I did for some of my previous clients:

1) For concerts, and night time events we have done Glow in the dark face paint (logo printed on container). Anything that glow works in this situation: Glow sticks, key chains, t-shirts. laser pointers.

2) One of my most popular items is any kind of multiple in one tool (i.e.: Flashlight/whistle/pooper scooper). Great for any even, and people love them, keep them, and have them laying around they house for years.

3) Ear buds. Everyone needs/uses headphones at some point in time. Keep them in your purse, or gym bag to be ready rock out in relative silence.

4) A very versatile item is the Lanyard. Inexpensive, quick to produce, and hundreds of uses. You can have anything from the badge holder including: chap stick, whistle, key chains, flyers, mini digital camera, phone holster, drink holder, wallet/waterproof wallet, and much much more!!

5) ...and the best promo product ever: they are versatile, they can be used alone or in conjunction with most any product. Beloved by all ages, and seen everywhere from bar bathroom stalls to Hospitals worldwide. STICKERS! They are cheap, easy to make, come in almost any size, most of them are eye catching, can be stuck relatively anywhere, and once applied are not easily removed. Perfect advertising!

It all comes down to your budget, your venue, and your audience. Contact us asap and one of our brand specialists will assist you in finding exactly what you are looking for.

It's about connecting your message to the product. Picking something that makes sense but also different. If you can tell me a little more about what you do I would be happy to send ideas. Feel free to send me a message on Kinnek. There are plenty of unique products and decoration techniques that can set your message apart. We have to find the one that makes the most sense for your brand.

There are many promotional items to choose from that can be branded with your logo, slogan, tag line, etc. It would be helpful to know more about your audience, and the item's intended purpose. I can build a quote for you from things like knitted beanies and scarves, to credit card looking bottle openers, to bumper stickers, to silicone shot and pint glasses, tin tackers and metal signs, to frisbees or golf towels! Don't hesitate to message me about what you were thing, and I can go from there....

it depends a lot on your budget and price per item. All kind of phone accessories are quite hot right now. Also custom playing cards could be a cool idea (if they make it to the poker table it will be great advertising). what about some new combinations like pen-bottle opener combo? let me know about your budget and I can help you better..

Depending on your business model, we find coozies to be quite popular as a promo item. Not only are they useful for breweries, we've done them for bands to hand out at shows, baseball stadiums to go on cups of soda, you name it. And with up to a 2 color print, we can customize it to meet any need.

The main purpose for promo products is to get your brand out there for the least cost and most exposure.

I try to stick with the theme of your business. Without knowing the culture and persona of your biz it's tough to throw things out there, yet ideas which pertain to what the recipient uses on a constant basis, like cell phone screen cleaners, magnets for fridge, laptop ideas, calendars, auto ideas, etc...places where you brand is going to be exposed, tend to be the best areas of focus.

Caps , pens and bottle openers are great items. Yet like you said, everybody uses those. In order for those to work they have to be really cool and stand out amongst the rest, otherwise they get stuck in a drawer with the other tchotchkes.

Feel free to reach out and share your business philosophy/mission statement, logo, culture and demographics and I'll be happy to share more concrete and pertinent ideas with you.

I think this really depends a lot on defining the target audience(s) & location.
* Can you provide a little more info?

> what type of establishment?
> general location?
> what's the goal? (more first time visits? repeat visits? a different customer type than what you currently have?)
