Kinnek is an online marketplace that helps small business owners discover suppliers that they trust.  

Search hundreds of supplier catalogs at once to quickly find the products you need.  Products on Kinnek all have filterable properties so that you can easily zero in on the product you want.  

Vet suppliers that you’re considering by visiting their Kinnek profiles. On a supplier’s profile, you can find verified reviews by other business owners, accreditations and awards, warehouse locations and more to make it easy to choose the right supplier for you.  

Throughout your decision-making process, Kinnek also gets you directly in touch with suppliers.  Start a conversation by sending suppliers a message or requesting a price quote.

Verified reviews are reviews where Kinnek has independently confirmed that the reviewer has purchased from the supplier.  Either the reviewer or the supplier must provide evidence of purchase in the form of a receipt, invoice, or similar document. In a world where anyone on the internet can write a review for any business, we want to provide small business owners with reviews they can trust: those written by real business owners with real purchases.

If you’re purchasing something for your business, yes!  If you’re a supplier, Kinnek’s premium features are available for a simple monthly subscription fee.    

When you go to a supplier’s profile, you’ll be able to see any products they might have in their catalog and/or any featured products.  You can filter a supplier’s products by category or specification.  If you’d like more information from the supplier, you can request a quote or message the supplier directly from their Kinnek profile.  

You can also search all catalogs in a product category by using Kinnek’s search and filter functions.  You can find the filter function on the left hand side of any catalog page. 
 

The majority of our suppliers today are located in the United States.  We also have a select few suppliers from various overseas locations, including Germany and Asia.  Check out each supplier’s profile to learn more about their warehouse locations, countries of manufacture, and more.

You can send a supplier a message anytime from their profile or any of their product pages.  You can also ask suppliers for a quote.  

For simple requests or common products, you may receive quotes in just a few minutes or even instantly.  For more complicated requests or uncommon products, it may take a few days for suppliers to write a customized quote for you. 

No, we don’t manufacture products or hold an inventory.  But we do put you directly in touch with top notch suppliers that can help you and your business!  On Kinnek, you can search product catalogs from thousands of top suppliers and read unbiased reviews from fellow business owners. 

All shipping is handled by our suppliers.   Some products will have shipping information in their product details.  Be sure to check with each supplier about their shipping policies before you purchase. 

No, there is absolutely no obligation to purchase. However, if you ask a supplier for quotes, we do ask that you are respectful of suppliers’ time and effort.

Minimum order quantities vary from supplier to supplier, but in general small orders tend to be harder for our suppliers to fulfill.  If you’re in doubt, we recommend that you request the largest order size that is feasible for you.  If you’re still not sure, send the supplier a message.  Or, email our Customer Success Team at questions@kinnek.com anytime and we may be able to advise you.

Open one of your quote requests.  You should see a list of the quotes you received for the item you requested.  On the top right hand corner of the page, select “Already Purchased?” or “Close Request” accordingly.  

If you’ve requested a quote, you can complete your purchase by clicking the “Purchase Now” button on the right hand side of the quote.   You can also place orders with suppliers by adding products to your cart and checking out.  Kinnek supports transactions made through all major credit cards, wire transfers, and ACH. Read more about payments on Kinnek here.

The primary policy for any refunds or exchanges on items is determined by your supplier.  If you’re unable to resolve an issue with a supplier, contact us at questions@kinnek.com and we’ll see if we can help. 

Yes, it’s possible to have a dual-account on Kinnek and to be both a small business buyer and supplier.  If you’re interested, send an email to questions@kinnek.com with your Kinnek username and we’ll enable a new account for you. 

Scroll up to the header at the top of the page.  Mouse over “More” on the right hand side and select “Settings.”  Next, select “Password” at the top of the page.  You’ll be prompted to change your password.
