Unfortunately my experience with system was on the not so great side. This company had a lot going for it, American made, American steel, Wounded warrior employees, and 3 hrs from us. Where they missed was changes to the purchase agreement, communication, and schedule (150+ days late). Their lack of communication and professionalism is horrid. They didn't follow the quoted specifications and made changes without discussing them. I purchased a 5 bbl HLT, they said they would send a 6bbl, total volume of my HLT is about 4.5bbl and that's to the edge. The purchase agreement on the control panel was different than what I received, missing items were; VFD, emergency stop button, power on/off for the ecc element, and PID for mash temp. The wort and water pumps were quotes as Lesson 3/4 hp 3 phase pumps, I received Iron Horse 1/3 hp single phase pumps. They told me they would drop-ship me a pump and vfd (great!), 3 weeks later still nothing. I asked about the second pump and got no response. They swapped my false bottom from the purchase agreement v-wire to a cnc lathe cut piece of flat steel which appears to be very restrictive. While hooking up the control one temp probe is bad, when reported to them they asked how I knew it was bad, that it was probably just a PID setting. I informed them we discussed with Auber how to have the PID setup correctly and that we then did a series of test with a multi meter, their response, crickets. I still have no fix for the ECC PID. Cold side temp probes wont read correctly in a ice water bath, support form them is non existent. If you can avoid Systech stainless I would, If you must deal with them I hope you have better luck than I did. Just a FYI this company is now also doing business as Ace Metal works. This was our first adventure into opening a microbrewery and we expected bumps along the road with permits, licenses, equipment, deliveries, and renovations to a building that is over one hundred years old. But what we did not expect was the excellent customer service and support we received from Systech. We had issues and questions come up on holidays and weekends and we always got an immediate response. Jason, the owner, actually helped us with a question on Thanksgiving Day! To us, that is invaluable, and that customer service and commitment from Systech is why we have chosen to order some additional equipment from them.

Hats off to the Systech Team. This American based manufacturer helped get our 3bbl nano-brewery up and running with a well priced turn-key system and outstanding customer service. If you're looking to open a nano or small production brewery, look no further. The vessels are solid. The brewers package very comprehensive, and the followup customer service to keep your system and brewery running, priceless. So far I am very dissatisfied with Systech Stainless Works. I ordered a keg washer on 10-17-2016. As of 2-9-2017 I still do not have a keg washer. I do have lots of correspondence, initiated by me, to get updates on the progress of the equipment. The responses are always blaming something that as a customer I don't really want to hear about, labor issues or material issues. I have a business to run and when I am relying on a supplier I don't need excuses I need the equipment I ordered. Here is an email example: "I didn't forget about you, as per my last update below, we are running very close to the end of your lead time of the 90 days. We were hoping to have it mid to late December per my note below, unfortunately due to some material issues and staff illnesses we are expecting it to ship by 1/18. I will keep you updated if that moves ahead. We always try to ship as close to early lead times as we can and I apologize that is not the case this time." 12-16-16 "Right now we have yours and two other is in the final stages of programming and then they will be going through QC, it should be ready to ship early next week. I will keep you updated daily as it moves through the final stages, I know you are anxious to start using it." 1-31-17 Please note NO additional updates have been emailed to me and this is the last correspondence to date. I have no rating for the product quality as I have not received the product. At this point I have brought Kinnek into the conversation to help settle things. Update to come.

We have been working with Systech Stainless Works for our major brewery needs. We have purchased an electric brew system and most recently are anticipating the delivery of our insulated, glycol bright tank and chiller. In our experience, Systech Stainless Works stands out based on their pricing and over the top customer service. We have been able to customize all of our brewing equipment specific to our needs with their design input. And where else will you be able to get a hold of the company owner on his personal cell phone on a weekend? Again, over the top customer service. We also think it's important to buy from an American based, veteran-friendly company. Feel free to reach out to us directly should you need more input.

What else can We say, but AMAZING! Our Brewhouse is a showpiece and to Our specs. Very pleased with the quality, and even more so with the customer service end of things. SysTech didn't just build Us a Brew house and Cellar, they helped build Us a Brewery! Stoked to have them in Our network and part of the Bonn Place Family!

Doing business with Systech Stainless Services was the worst decision my company made during the start up of our brewery. I would not recommend Systech Stainless Services to anyone in the craft beer industry under any circumstance. The quality of the product we received is extremely poor. The brewhouse we received is a very low quality system due to the poor craftsmanship in the welding but also the design. We consistently asked for detailed design prints during the duration of the seven months we put up with Systech but only received basic sketches/outlines. One particular design flaw in our mash tun is that the false bottom sits below the manway on the side of the vessel. Upon finally receiving our equipment, Systech excluded the gas burners, the brewhouse condensation stack and other key items that had been paid for in the original invoice expecting everything to be delivered. After finally gathering all of the equipment from Systech, we have been forced to dump six batches of wort down the drain due to scorched wort because of Systech’s design in the boil kettle delaying our opening even further. The communication with Systech during the seven-month buying process was nonexistent. Jason Spurell was our main point of contact and we received numerous excuses from gatekeepers and other employees that work for at Systech that could never get us a straight answer on any of our questions we had. Jason would constantly state that our equipment would be ready in “two weeks” and then make up an excuse as to why there is another two-week delay. Our order for a 5bbl BK, 10bbl MT, 15 HLT and five 5bbl fermenters was placed on November 3rd, 2015 and it took 220 days for Systech to deliver with a 120-day estimated delivery date. One top of being late, Systech refused to ship our equipment until the final 30% of our invoice was wired directly to their bank and threatened to refuse our truck until the funds cleared into their account. I have not spoked to one brewery who was happy with the system they received from Systech in the past six months. This review is not to seek revenge on Systech but rather protect those in the brewing community from having the same experience that we had with Systech.

As an update to my review below I wanted to note that Jason was very reasonable in working with me to return the equipment. His communication during the return process was great. Jason told me that since my prior experience he's increased his team in order to prevent the problems during my initial experience. I appreciate his willingness to rectify a bad situation and willingness to handle things professionally. Best of luck to Jason and his team at Systech.

Systech delivered us a Turn-Key brew house at a value unmatched by the competition. The affordability offered by Systech contributed to the successful startup of our independent nano-brewery. The system design provides consistency in both mash temperature control and conversion efficiency. Customer service is top notch. Jason and his team were immediately responsive to questions or resolving issues from the time of sale, through startup / installation and afterwards.

I placed an order for a 1bbl brew house on November 2nd 2015 and paid a 50% deposit and was quoted 60-90 days for the lead time. Jason was very responsive and helpful leading up to the ordering process. After receiving our deposit that all changed immediately. It is nearly impossible to get in touch with him and get and information on my system. I talked to him the first week of December and he said they were actually about ready to ship the system and would probably go out the week of Christmas. Ever since then, every time I am finally able to get Jason on the phone, I'm told "Your system will ship next week". We are now almost 3 weeks past the 90 day quote and I still have no idea what is going on. I send an email about once every other week and get no response, so I'll try calling but nobody in the warehouse has any clue as to what is going on with my system. They will tell me "Jason was going to call you this afternoon." I never actually get that phone call from Jason so I give him a couple days to get back to me. When he still doesn't respond, I'll call back and am continuously given an excuse and it's delayed another week. I have not received any equipment yet so I can't speak to the quality of the equipment, but if you want to spend a bunch of money then be jerked around and deal with extremely poor customer service, then this is your place. I have never written a review before, but after my experience with these guys, it was necessary to warn others. It's quite sad because these guys had great prices and everything is made/sourced in the USA. My only hope at this point is that the equipment shows up soon and that the quality is good and everything works properly.

It's been more than 6 months since my initial order and nearly 4 months since final payment but I've yet to receive the UL listing that I paid an extra $500 for, O&M manuals, and an installation guide for the brewhouse controls. I have only received cut sheets for various parts of the fermenter controls which aren't very helpful. Systech also shipped the equipment 6 weeks later than agreed. Getting a hold of Jason Spurell throughout the process has been very difficult. For the past month Jason has not returned my calls or emails. I haven't installed either of the two panels I ordered from Systech (fermentation control and brewhouse control) so I am unable to speak to the quality of the product.

When we started our brewery we are inundated with all the challenges that come with starting a new business, in a new facility with a system we bought elsewhere. As our brewing system came to production, we had a lot of gaps that needed filled and quickly. From custom fittings to additional equipment, Systech was there to support us. After we toured their facility and were able to meet everyone from the design staff to the team welding the equipment, we knew we had a partner who truly understands brewing and is not just an equipment re-seller.
